Returns & Policies

All items are eligible for returns within 14 days of purchase. Let us know why you would like to return the item. If there is a problem with the item, we may be able to fix it.

We will work with you to arrange drop off or pick up of returned items. Items must be received in the same condition as they were when sold. If dropping the item off, make sure you safely pack it for travel.

Once we receive the item, our team will inspect it. A refund will be issued for the cost of the item, less the *ACTUAL COST* of originating and return delivery. If you damaged the item while within your possession, those damages will be deducted from the refund amount.

Rijwind sometimes subsidizes shipping costs in order to mitigate the expense to our buyers. The ACTUAL COST is the fee charged by the carrier, not the discounted Rijwind rate. For example, your Rijwind invoice shows €1.500 for the item and €80 for delivery. Outgoing shipping ACTUAL COST from our carrier was €100, return shipping ACTUAL COST was an additional €100. In this case your originally paid €1.580 for your order. Your refunded amount will be €1.380 (€1.580 - €200 ACTUAL COST shipping). 

VAT (Value Added Tax)

Our prices are inclusive of VAT. The price you see on an item is the price you pay. Delivery fees are charged separately. 

Customs And Import Taxes

Customers within The Netherlands and European Union will not pay customs or import fees. Clients outside of the European Union may be subject to these fees. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Rijwind is not responsible for shipment delays or fees imposed by customs.

Cancelling/Changing Special Orders

Our team works quickly to make sure your special orders are processed as expeditiously as possible. As such we allow a 48 hour window for modification or cancellation of special orders. Contact us if there is an issue with the order, we can see if it is possible to make the change after 48 hours, but it is not guaranteed that your order can be modified after that period. Custom orders are non-refundable.

Defective Items

Contact us right away to report a defective item. We will work with your to repair or replace the item or defective parts. Our expert team will be happy to repair any defective pieces. Irreparable items will be returned and refunded. We are not obligated to make repairs or accept returns on items damaged by abuse.
